What happens when the day closes

The day closes by itself at the hour you chose. Here is what to check if it has not.

At the close hour the business day ends and the next begins. Sold-out marks clear, and sales from then on belong to the new day.

If the close has stopped

The screen says what stopped it. The usual cause is a cash drawer still open.

1. Count and close the drawer. A manager can close one that somebody else left open.
2. The close picks up again by itself within the hour.

Until the close finishes, the business day does not move on. Sales can still be rung.
